Weekly Stash Report

Didn't get to sew much this week. I made this tree block for the Year-long Christmas Sampler we are doing on a quilting site and I started some snowflake blocks that are due out next weekend.

My stash report for the week is not bad I guess but my usuage needs to be more each week instead of me selling/gifting it others. Check out Judy's Stash Busting Challenge for this year it will put you in the right direction to use what you have and keep you on track by posting with the rest of the bunch weekly like HERE

Fabric usage report ....
Fabric Added this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date: 4 yards
Fabric Used this Week: .25 yard
Fabric gifted/sold this week: 8 yards
Fabric Out Year to Date: 45.25 yards

Thread usage report --I still have over 51 spools of thread on hand - I hope to use half of these this year.
Spools added this week: 0 spools
Spools used this week: 0 spools
Total Spools used to Date: 2 spools
Total Spools bought to Date: 2 spools
until next time ... happy quilting

That's a great block. At one of our retreats, we used a block like that for our lotto block. Each block was decorated as a Christmas tree. Guess who won the blocks and has done nothing with them yet! Now I think I will pull them out and put them up top on the project plan.

I have always thought about doing a Christmas quilt with all kinds of blocks. . .maybe one of these years it will get done.

You have a great start on yours. Keep up the great work.

The block is very nice. And no fabric added is very nice. Keep plugging away. It will happen.

Cute tree block. I can't wait to see all those Christmas blocks together in a quilt. As to your stash report, stash reduction is stash reduction. You've been doing great. Hope you find time to fit some sewing in. I know I go through phases where I am able to get lots done, then phases where I have almost no sewing time. I've learned to just enjoy the time I find when I find it. Hope things are going well for you :oD
