This was another good week, any amount busted is a good week right? I sold/swapped out some fabric and also made some swap blocks like these .... and working on some others (will post photos later maybe)

Thread usage report --I have over 51 spools of thread on hand - I hope to use half of these this year. I know I will have to add white and beige here and there to do certain blocks but plan on using those oddies for piecing backing and my string and crumb blocks.

That is one of my favorite blocks. I think it's very classy looking. I use up lots of odd thread and bobbins for my backings and strings too. Good job on your numbers.
As far as learning to knit, do like I did and get yourself a book for teaching children to knit. Lots of good pictures and easy to follow instructions.

Cute blocks...Ohio Stars are one of my favorites! Great job on the stash busting, you're making great progress. I know that point you mentioned at the beginning of your post. I sometimes think, "hey, I don't have all that much fabric." then I look around and realize "Oh yes I do!" *lol* I haven't bought any fabric this year yet myself and am making a real effort to use what I have on hand. Out with the old, then I can move on with the new...kind of the theme of the year for me :D Hope you have a great day!!
